Guglielmo Marconi (1874-1937)

Developed the first long-distance wireless telegraph.

Nikola Tesla (1856-1943)

Tesla invented the alternating current electrical system which is still used today.

Lewis Latimer (1848-1928)

Latimer worked alongside Bell and Edison to successfully patent both the lightbulb and the telephone.

Developed a code, known as Morse code, to communicate messages through the telegraph.
